Dine for Life marked the start of Perth’s party season with it’s second event, the 2010 Summer Dinner.

On December 1st 2010, 130 people dined simultaneously across 13 fine dining restaurants, raising a total of $19,500 for the Samaritans Crisis Line. Diners were then whisked away in cars donated by Hyundai to a secret location after party where they came together to share the experience with a cocktail and desert pairing by expert mixologists Cocktail Gastronomy.

Officially launching only a few days before the event, Dine for Life was thrilled to have the after party at Malt Supper Club. Close to 200 people attended the after party where they celebrated the close of another successful event.

"We are absolutely thrilled at the support and enthusiasm the people of Perth haveshown by attending this fabulous event. The high demand for tickets to last night's event shows that Perth is ready for change and is supporting not only a more active dining culture but also embracing the concept of dining with a conscience," Dine for Life Founder Andjelka Matic said.

Guests rubbed shoulders with a fashionable crowd at the after party, which included fashion designer Aurelio Costarella, 6PR's Tony McManus, footy stars Byron Schammer and Paul Hasleby, former American Idol contestant Michael Johns and last year's MasterChef contestant Josh Catalano.

Internationally acclaimed designer Aurelio Costarella also donated an exquisite silk and metal hand beaded cape that was won by one lucky female guest. The gorgeous Cunnard Cape is one of only five made. The men did not miss out either, with one guest winning two premium tickets to the Hyundai Hopman Cup.
